All the orthodontic treatment at Belmont Orthodontic Centre is undertaken by the Specialist in Orthodontics Dr Philip Barton.

Dr Barton graduated top in his year as a dentist (BDS) from Edinburgh University in 1988.
 
He commenced working as an orthodontist in 1989 and completed his training to become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDSRCS(Ed)) in 1991.

 

In 1996 he graduated from the 3 year post-graduate course at Liverpool University to become a Specialist in Orthodontics (MDentSci, MorthRCS(Ed)) and won the prestigious Orthologic Prize for the best treated patients.
 
In 1998 he left the hospital orthodontic service and established the specialist orthodontic practice at Belmont in Shrewsbury.
