About Our Practice

The orthodontic treatments undertaken at Belmont Orthodontic Centre vary from the very minor to the amazingly complex.

Accordingly the cost of treatment varies from £400 – £8,000. (0% finance is available to spread the cost of treatment over typically 12 – 18 months, dependent upon the length of the treatment and its associated cost).

The only way to ascertain the treatment plans available to you and their associated fees is to make a consultation appointment with Dr Philip Barton or Dr Omar Yaqoob.

The cost of the consultation appointment is £110.00 for children (under 18 years) and £125.00 for adults.

We are aware that the cost of the treatment is an important factor and that sometimes people ‘shop around’. When doing so make sure that the clinician has had the appropriate orthodontic training (ie has the MOrth qualification after their name), check their reputation and ask friends and colleagues whom they would recommend. This is a once in a life time opportunity to realise the smile you have always wanted, make sure you choose the correct clinician.

We know that our fees are very reasonable, but more importantly, you know that you are in safe hands.

Covid 19

As you will know, the Prime Minister has confirmed that public restrictions have been significantly eased on 19th July.
Under the Government’s guidance “Health and care settings will continue to maintain appropriate infection prevention and control processes as necessary and this will be continually reviewed. Guidance will be updated based on the latest clinical evidence this summer.

With this in mind, we are asking all patients/visitors/chaperones to the Practice to adhere to the following:

  • If you need to come into the surgery for an appointment, please remember that social distancing remains in place in the dental practice and to wear a face covering upon entering the building.
  • The use of the  intercom system will remain in use for the foreseeable future

Every dental practice is working extremely hard to provide care to our patients within the restrictions and guidance to ensure it’s safe to visit the dentist.

We hope that this helps clarify why these measures are in place for every NHS dental practice.
