Katie Armstrong

Katie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2005 working initially in General Dental Practice prior to entering the Hospital Service as a Dental Nurse in Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007. In 2008 she registered as a Qualified Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council. Katie has also gained qualifications in Dental Radiography (May 2008), Dental Impression Taking (Dec 2011), clinical photography and also has her Orthodontic Nursing Qualification (Dec 2011). Katie qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2016 and is a pivotal member of the team.

Corey Bellwood

We were delighted to welcome Corey to the Practice at the beginning of June 2021. Corey commenced her Dental Nurse career in 2016 and gained her Diploma in Dental Nursing and Radiography shortly afterwards. Whilst working as an Orthodontic Nurse at Birmingham Dental Hospital, she developed a passion for Orthodontics. Corey has recently gained her Orthodontic Therapist qualification.

Molly Bain

Molly joined the Practice in 2023 having gained her Dental Nurse Qualification in November 2019. Molly has several years experience in general dentistry but has always had a keen interest in both orthodontic and aligner treatments. Since joining the Practice in 2023, Molly has gained her impression taking qualification and is currently working towards her radiography qualification.

Carys Griffiths

Carys is our newest Dental Nurse having joined the Practice in 2023. Since joining the Practice, Carys has qualified in her impression taking qualification and is currently undergoing her radiography course. Carys is always eager to learn new skills and her passions have led her to further her knowledge in orthodontics. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2017 and has experience in leading a dental nurse team.

Alysha Jones

Alysha is the latest member to join the Belmont Team. Alysha has always had a keen interest in Dentistry and has previously undertaken works experience in a Maxillofacial Department of a local Hospital. Alysha obtained her Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2021 and since joining the Practice has gained her qualification in impression taking.

Shyann Sheppard

Shy is our newest member of the clinical team! She qualified as a dental nurse in 2023, continuing her career in the profession she specialised in implantology and oral surgery, this is where her passion to specialise further in orthodontics originated. Shy is currently undergoing courses and qualifications in Oral Health Education, Radiography and will further qualify as an Orthodontic Dental Nurse.

Helen joined the Practice in 2011. Helen is our Practice Co-ordinator/Secretary who works hard behind the scenes keeping us organised and compliant with all regulatory bodies.

Yvonne works on reception and provides a friendly and professional service to all our patients/visitors. She has gained many years of reception experience and is always on hand to deal with any queries you may have.

Diane (Dee) Millership

Diane (or Dee as she likes to be known), joined the Practice in 2022 and has many years of reception experience in Doctors and Dental Practices and always greets patients with a friendly warm smile! Dee works on a part-time basis covering reception on Thursdays whilst providing admin support on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Amy is our newest member of the clerical team having joined the Practice in August 2023. Amy works part-time on reception as she is also currently undergoing a degree in biology. Amy is front desk on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Don’t hesitate to ask her any questions.
