I wish I hadn’t taken five years to commit to the inevitable: fixed braces!!I was advised it would take fifteen months to straighten my teeth and, crucially, correct the bite.
The fifteen months passed very quickly and it was very easy to adapt to wearing a brace. The skill, attention to detail and consideration I experienced whilst under Dr. Barton’s care were second to none. I was amazed at the sequential movement of teeth, a process triggered by adjustments made approximately every five weeks. I actually began to look forward to each appointment! I was curious to experience the next steps of the orthodontic process, knowing the hope of straight teeth and a comfortable mouth was becoming an ever closer reality.
At the age of 63!!!I no longer try to hide my smile. My mouth is free of discomfort….and I can actually chew my food properly!!!!Hadn’t even realised that was a problem! I would like to thank Dr. Barton and his very friendly team for making the fifteen months a very positive experience. An experience not to have been avoided for five years!!! I would recommend treatment with Belmont Orthodontic Centre without hesitation.
